This will allow us to combine Custom Audiences with the power of remarketing.
Here’s a possible scenario:
- You upload a custom audience of prospects.
- They visit your site, add to cart, and then abandon.
- You can target them with a discount coupon to incentivize them to come back and buy.
On the Facebook For Business blog, they give another example:
“For instance, a travel website with the remarketing pixel could use Custom Audiences to reach a group of people — say, people that searched for flights but never made a reservation — with a targeted message in News Feed: Come back for 10% off your next flight reservation.”
We plan to use this feature as soon as it becomes available.
