Veteran-owned small businesses are a vibrant force in the US economy, employing millions of people and selling an estimated $1 trillion in goods and services each year. Veteran small-business owners are more likely than small businesses overall to use Facebook as a major business development platform. With 61 percent of veteran small business owners using Facebook (vs. 34 percent of the overall small business community, it is perhaps not surprising that veterans are also more likely to say that Facebook has allowed them to increase their sales and hiring.
