Finding new keywords to separate themselves from competitors can be challenging for webmasters. Especially when everyone is using the same keywords located with the same keyword tools.
With a bit of creativity, however, the diligent webmaster can find a virtual Pandora’s box of new keywords using already existing tools, and free tools.
These include: searching a landing page instead of keywords; forums, Google’s related search and autocomplete, Google Correlate, Google Search Console and Google Trends.
You’d be forgiven for thinking Google has a monopoly on the search engine and keyword business, but not so.
Amazon and eBay also run on their own keyword search engine with their own autocomplete algorithms.
Wikipedia is also a source of unique keywords by looking at the categories reported on a Wikipedia page, the table of contents, and finally the “see also” section every page contains.
