There are a lot of reasons early birds are successful – they get more alone time in the morning to get more done, for example. Scientifically, early birds are also predisposed toward success. There’s more of a chance you’ll eat a good breakfast, for example, and early birds are generally healthier overall. They also squeeze more time out of each day – waking up just one hour earlier each day works out to fifteen extra days of wakefulness a year!
