If your social media following has gotten stagnant recently, it might be time to change things up. One of the best ways to improve your following on social media is to think outside the box and try new things. Figure out what works and what doesn’t, and keep the things that work!
On Twitter, you can try new things like changing your location, including hashtags in your bio, and adding a call-to-action and link to a landing page in your bio. Most of these changes will garner you more followers, although that last could get you clickthroughs and conversions, as well. You can measure the success of these changes by checking how many new followers you gain each day before and after the change. If the changes improve your daily follower growth, keep them. If not, go back to what you had before and try something else! When it comes to the tweets themselves, you can try publishing them at different times or on different days, including different hashtags, and including more and different @-mentions. On Facebook, try changing your cover photo or adding keywords to your About section to draw more views. Pin a popular post to the top of your page or add new milestones to your page. Again, keep track of how effective and engaging these changes are and keep or discard them accordingly. The only way to keep growing on social media is to keep changing!
