Google works to constantly to improve their metrics so users can understand data better and use it to their advantage. This is the reason they recently launched three new search console reports which takes optimization to the next level. All three are error focused and show trends in errors and warnings across sites. The third report is Unparsable Structured Data report which aggregates parsing issues. Discovering parsing issues can open up opportunities for rich results for a site.
- It is noted that Google is making additions to the Search Console and these additions are all connected in one way or the other to structured data.
- There used to be reports on Recipe, Event, and job posting and now these reports will have other reports that are joining them like Sitelink searchbox and Logo.
- When users receive a report from Google search console they can check the report immediately and find out if the structured data contains errors.
“Enhancement reports display the overall trends of errors, warnings, and valid items on a site. They also display warnings and errors per page.”
