Quantity isn’t always better than quality. In fact, many articles you find on google are simply missing the mark when it comes to ‘hitting’ the desired search intention of a user. In fact, Google has stepped up their game and delivered an updated quality rating system that makes sure articles, provided to the user, actually achieve the desired search query’s goals. Rankings will no longer be purely on quantity of the article, and are now determined by the accuracy of the content, or otherwise, the quality of achieved results.
- According to Google, because there is a lot of words in some articles, it does not mean that is good quality for answers that are being searched.
- Google has what is called, “Quality Rater Guidelines,” that measures the relativity of an article that people are searching.
- Instead of “counting words” of an article, Google wants to make sure the content is beneficial for readers.
“What’s most important is how well the content satisfies a particular query.”
