Last updated: February 2, 2016 By Braintrust

First impressions are more important now than ever in the world of business. Potential customers, clients, and partners will form opinions about your business in the first few moments of interaction, and when your competitors are literally at their fingertips, it’s crucial that your first impression is a great one. Here are some tips for creating an impression that makes your new business look absolutely professional, legitimate, and enticing.

First, you’ll have to create a streamlined visual brand. Maintaining consistency with your logo, fonts, and colors will help you stand out as professional even if you can’t afford to pay a professional graphic designer. You should also be sure to use high-quality images. Professional headshots and branded photos should be the order of the day, both on your website and across your social media. You website must also be user-friendly and great looking, and the messages in it should be consistent and authoritative. Develop a voice for your blog and marketing content and stick to it. All of this is part of creating a strong brand, and that brand will make a great first impression!
