We fought off the Panda… We fought off the Penguin… Seriously. We’ve been working for more than a year, and every Google update means we have to go over each piece of what we teach to check for possible changes. But after a year of work, and a bunch of false alarms:

Hey I just did my first Google+1. Yes you guys are worth the bullshit of having to sign in just to vote…really you are! I wish they could make white hat social bookmarking a bit easier. I would Google +1 more (…and any other bookmarking tool for that matter) if it were a lot easier.

If you’ve been link building and Google has not hit you yet, it’s probably just a matter of time. Dan’s one of the few I’d trust to tell us how to do the job properly and still rank at the top.

Good work, Dan (and Leslie, of course)

    Hi

Had Link Liberation 2 – looking forward to Link Liberation 3

Does the White Hat Black Belt offer anything new that is not in Link Liberation 2 or what will be in Link Liberation 3?

    • Dan Thies says

      May 31, 2012 at 4:17 pm

Yes, Dave. White Hat Black Belt is more of a companion to Link Liberation. To oversimplify a bit, White Hat Black Belt is mostly about what you are doing on your web site, and Link Liberation is about how you market your site on the web.

        Hey Dan,
I noticed OhMyDogSupplies dropped like a tank with the Penguin update. This was one of your success stories for LL2 – which I bought and enjoyed.
I’m curious if you could touch base on what happened with that site – did they do things beyond your recommendations? I’m enjoying the webinars and considering buying this course as well, but after seeing OhMy drop, this brings up some obvious concerns.

Yes, Ryan, they did a whole bunch of stuff that I not only don’t recommend, but that I have been telling anyone who will listen not to do. Take a look in MajesticSEO or OSE, and gape in wonder at what the heck they were thinking.

    Hi Guys,

Sounds like great value for the course. Couple of questions. Can the course be completed in your own time, as and when you can fit it in? Or is it a set time for each module? Are the modules presented online or are the downloadable so cab view at anytime even if don’t have internet access?

    Thanks,
    Damien.

      Damien,

The course is released over 7 weeks, but you’re not required to run through it that quickly. Your access to the content doesn’t end after 7 weeks – I can’t say “forever” because at some point the sun will burn out if nothing else, but we have no plans to shut down the web site.

After 30 days, all of the content is downloadable. During the first 30 days, just the transcript is downloadable. You can accelerate your access to downloads by contacting our support team and letting them know that you will not be needing a refund. This takes a couple business days at most to handle for you.

I have a domain I want to work on and I want to make sure I get it right.
Its worth at least $20-30000 so I guess spending $197 will be well worth it.

When will be available every module ?

    • Dan Thies says

      June 5, 2012 at 4:59 pm

The content is being released weekly, over 7 weeks. You start with Module 1, Module 2 is released in 7 days, etc.

Hey guys, I just saw this offer this morning. Is the $197 price still good? Thanks!

    • Dan Thies says

      June 5, 2012 at 5:00 pm

Still appears to be online at $197 but there’s a work ticket in to change that. Whatever price is there when you click is the price. It’s going to the $297 retail price soon.

    Dan,
I’m literally a beginner would you say this course is a good place to start or what would you recommend? Thanks for your input.

    • Dan Thies says

      June 14, 2012 at 4:48 pm

If you are literally a beginner, read SEO Fast Start (it’s free) first. If that all makes sense and you can put it into practice, then you should be able to handle White Hat Black Belt.

Is this training still current even after all penguins, pandas and all the other “zoo” updates from Google?
