Trash it after realizing it’s unimportant, respond immediately, or wait and respond later. The best options are the first two. Too often people put their emails off, letting them stack up. Meetings can be another big productivity killer. While they can certainly be useful, meeting just to meet without anything crucial to discuss, or meeting without an agenda, will waste your time and keep you from doing the things you need to be doing. And one of the easiest productivity killers to avoid is app notifications. Emails, social apps, and games all ping, beep, and buzz, distracting you and your co-workers. Turn off those push notifications and you’ll be able to work in peace! Avoid these habits and you’ll find your productivity improving!
